Mission

The Digital Hub FrankfurtRheinMain provides today the conditions for tomorrow‘s requirements, works out innovative concepts and gives clear recommendations.

  • We take position for the digital location FrankfurtRheinMain and represent economical interests.
  • We net economics, science and society, promote collaborations and bundle competences.
  • We stand for the best general conditions on the location.

Purposes of the Association (Extract of Statutes § 2)

  • (1) Purpose of the Association is the promotion of digital infrastructure in the city of Frankfurt am Main as well as of the region FrankfurtRheinMain (called „FrankfurtRheinMain“ in the following) and the promotion of value creation networks between users and providers.
  • (2), the Association has in particular the following aims:
    • create a performing network of economics, science and institutions of the public authorities and position Frankfurt am Main as the city of „Digital Infrastructure“ in Europe.
    • support research and development.
    • increase the conscience of the importance of digital infrastructure in the public and reach a sustainable handling of this topic at political and economic decision-makers.
    • support the exploitation of innovation and market potential of the digital infrastructure in FrankfurtRheinMain.
    • establish a brand „Digital Hub FrankfurtRheinMain“.
    • give targeted impulses to expand the digital infrastructure in FrankfurtRheinMain.
    • carry out public relation work to obtain thereby increase of the name recognition of this location factor.
    • undertake information events.
    • promote innovations.
  • (3) To reach these intended aims, the association will in particular form work groups of members and non-members, grant research contracts, organize events for information purposes and do active PR work.
  • (4) The association can participate at other associations and initiatives of any legal form, and/or found them.
  • (5) It is not aimed to generate profit.

Membership Contribution Regulation

AAnnex A to the Statutes of the Association Digital Hub FrankfurtRheinMain e.V.

Amount of Contribution

Die Höhe des Mitgliedsbeitrags für jedes ordentliche Mitglied, ob juristische oder natürliche Person, beträgt € 20.000 (in Worten: zwanzigtausend Euro) pro Geschäftsjahr.

Pro rata contribution

Mitglieder, die im laufenden Geschäftsjahr dem Verein beitreten, zahlen die anteiligen Beiträge für die verbliebenen Monate.

Due date/Mode of Payment

Der Mitgliedsbeitrag wird jeweils zum 31. Januar. bzw. mit Zugang der schriftlichen Bestätigung des Vorstands über die erfolgte Aufnahme fällig. Gültig ab 3. Mai 2011

2011 – Foundation of the Association in Frankfurt am Main
